BUYERS

• Remote buying of farmed seafood via our website couldn't be simpler. E-mail to request a credit application form. Complete and return this form. Once you are approved for credit, you will be sent a login and password, which allows you to log on to the site and place your bids.

• There is a daily catalogue of farmed seafood, listed by weight bands, quality marks, quantities and prices. Buyers must bid at least the minimum price required by the seller, or else the bid will be rejected by the system. Auction times can vary but buyers will be kept informed on a daily basis by e-mail. SELLERS

• Producers and suppliers can also e-mail Martin to include their farmed seafood for sale on the daily catalogue. The fish can either be advertised for auction while they are still swimming in the sea, then harvested and processed to customers' requirements, to allow timely deliveries anywhere in the UK and overseas, or they can be advertised for auction post harvesting at a point of delivery e.g. Glasgow. 

• The auction times can vary each day, but there is a daily auction Monday to Friday. The system allows the producer/supplier to set minimum prices for the fish and if desired there is a facility to offer discounts for volume purchases. Bids will only be accepted by the system if they are equal to or above the minimum prices required by the producer/supplier.
